In Henrik Ibsen’s 19th century masterpiece, A DOLL’S HOUSE, the life of a Norwegian family is shattered one Christmas night, when Nora Helmer walks out on husband and household in search of self.  In A DOLL’S HOUSE, PART 2, 21st century playwright Lucas Hnath  examines the wreckage when Nora returns, 15 years later.  On The Verge made a little history of our own by presenting both plays back-to-back in the same historic home with the same core cast in the summer of 2019.  Thanks to all who attended, to the Episcopal Diocese of Lexington for allowing us in and to LexArts for co-sponsoring A DOLL’S HOUSE, PART 2.
